Chicken Tomato and Feta Pasta

Looking for a quick, easy and tasty dinner? Then look no further than our chicken, tomato and feta pasta.  This recipe is an adaptation of a vira Tik Tok recipe from a couple of years ago. We have taken this culinary gem and given it a protein-packed twist.  By adding tender chunks of chicken breast, we’ve elevated this dish to new heights.

And, what’s even better is that this recipe is so simple that even a thirteen year old can master it, as proven by our own kitchen prodigy who whipped this up over the weekend.

Chicken Tomato and Feta Pasta

  • 600g cherry tomatoes

  • 8 oz block Feta cheese

  • ¼  cup olive oil

  • Fresh basil leaves

  • 500g chicken breast, cubed

  • 1 tbsp garlic powder

  • 1 tbsp onion powder

  • ½ tbsp dried parsley

  • 8 oz dried penne pasta


  • Preheat your oven to 220℃ (425℉).
  • Add the Feta cheese to the centre of an oven proof Pyrex dish .  
  • Scatter the cherry tomatoes around the Feta cheese and then pour over the olive oil.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste (don’t forget that Feta cheese is quite salty in itself.  For this reason I normally just add some pepper and omit the salt at this stage).
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.
  • Whilst the cheese and tomatoes are in the oven, it is time to prepare your chicken and pasta.  Starting with the chicken which you should season well with the garlic and onion powder and the dried parsley.  Add salt and pepper to taste should you so wish.  Cook on a medium in a non-stick frying pan for around 15 minutes until the chicken is cooked through.
  • After the Feta and tomatoes have been cooking for around 15 minutes, start cooking your pasta according to the instructions.  Once cooked, drain and set aside.
  • After 30 minutes, take the Feta and tomatoes out from the oven and break them up by stirring with a wooden spoon.
  • Add in the pasta and chicken and sprinkle with some basil leaves and enjoy.

  • If your children are anything like ours and they prefer a tomato sauce with their pasta, feel free to add a little bit of your preferred marinara sauce.
